This was originally a practice piece for painting clouds, but it turned into this. I would like to thank sxc.hu for creating such an amazing stock database. I used two stocks from there, one the boy, and two the majority of the landscape.

I hope someone likes it

This is really a fantastic piece of work--
The clouds are amazing; I like how you show how large they can be by placing the seemingly large city directly beneath it.
I really love the detail and colors of the sky---

Great Job!

The clouds are really cool but something about them prevents them from 'photorealistically' blending into the scene. The buildings are sweet too, and I like the one on the horizon past the clouds a lot, but it isn't lit much more on the top, which you'd think it would be right? Being free from the shade of the clouds and all. The planets are a nice touch too, I dont know if I like the person watching it in the foreground but it's a good concept to work on.
