I have been working on this off and on for about 5 days. I like how it came out. Hopefully you guys will too.

Base stock- A picture from a friends cabin. Its so great up there :) ([link])
Clouds- =resurgere About to cloud stocks have been used
Clouds, sand, waves, and person- sxc.hu

Favourites are appreciated, and watches are treasured ;).

Sorry about that, I masked a couple of clouds that were overlaying onto others.

The sky has an almost blended painted look to it, soft and muted, while the ground has a more bold approach. Nice contrast. Good work.

great piece :D nice colours, and generally a good composition :D the only thing I would like to point out is a grey stripe on the beach a couple of inches from the right hand side

You did much better with the atmosphere this time. It is a nice gradient. =)

Everything is well done on this.

One thing, if a planetoid was that close to the planet, wouldn't the tide waves be huge? =P

You might be right, but its a lake and waves on lakes are not usually caused by satelite planets, unless its a huge lake :).
